JobScope is a personal daily-log app. All information you enter - including text, photos, and audio - is stored only on your device. We do not run servers that receive or store your data, we do not sell or share it, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
While using JobScope, the following information may be created on your device:
This data is stored locally on your device using Android's standard app storage. It is not uploaded to us or to any third party.
Each permission is requested only when you use the related feature, and you can revoke any permission at any time in your device's system settings.
JobScope does not transmit your content off your device. The only time your data leaves the app is when you explicitly act - for example, by using your device's share sheet, or by exporting or printing a log (which uses the operating system's own sharing and print features). Any recipient, storage provider, or print service you choose then handles that data according to their own terms and policies, not ours.
JobScope is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because your data is stored only on your device, you control retention. Deleting a log entry in the app removes it from the app. Uninstalling the app, or using Android's "Clear storage" for JobScope, removes all app data from your device.
We rely on the sandboxing, permission system, and storage protections provided by Android. We do not operate servers that hold your JobScope data, so no server-side breach of our systems can expose it.
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the new version at the same URL. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
